If you would like to continue blogging, AOL Journals has setup an agreement with Blogger.com to provide a smooth transition from AOL Journals. If you are an AOL Pictures users - On December 31, 2008, AOL will close the AOL Pictures online photo service. However, we have partnered with American Greetings® PhotoWorks® to enable continued access to your pictures. If you would like to continue using a pictures service, go to http://pictures.aol.com/ to begin process.

4. I was also unable to transfer my journals before the 31st. I went onto my journal a couple weeks before the 31st and there was no announcement or anything that notified me of the shut down. I lost things that were very important to me and was devastated to find them gone. Is there ANY way they can be retrieved?
