Where are my Favorite Places? This is a common question we have been asked by several users in the last few months as we launched myAOL which includes the new myAOL Favorites product. First of all, your "Favorite Places" are safe and sound and can be accessed by using the AOL desktop client. Secondly, myAOL Favorites bookmarks are equivalent to a "Favorite Place" in the AOL desktop client software but are currently not saved in the same place as "Favorite Places." Your myAOL Favorites are saved for access from the Web on any computer that you sign into myAOL from, while your "Favorite Places" are part of the AOL desktop client software and are accessible from any AOL desktop client that you sign into.
In the coming months we would like to allow you the ability to get the best of both worlds by adding features to allow you to access your myAOL Favorites Web bookmarks and "Favorite Places" seamlessly from myAOL.

63. Bought 2nd dell computer for my home. My "favorite Places" do not appear on the 2nd computer. When I add to my favorites on the home computer it duplicates on the computer at my office. How do I get my favorites on my home computer?

I recently replaced My Dell W/ the COMPAQ Presario SR5613WM I was pleasantly surprised, for the cost (under $400)its extremely fast (3 ghz DDR memory) its by far the fastest unit I’ve owned. also an excellent DVD burner W/ a cool feature named “lightScribe” with the right DVD’s (blank) burns a label of Your choice. The down side (was)a free 60 day “Norton Security Systems” software that is a Nightmare, its complete
overkill. Down load a freebie off Kim Komando’s site or purchase something (anything) this unit is a deal & a half.

74. Your (aol) system is so screwed up now. I was trying to check on an individuals criminal record. These are public documents, but everywhere I go someone wants money and a password that I haven't known in 10-12 years. I'm beginning to think I don't even need a computer at home anymore. Can do necessary things at the library.Favorite places on this name have totally gone somewhere in the ether world. Just leave well enough alone for a while.
